100 Day Celebration!

Nicole's had a rough two weeks, starting with Sunday the 14th when (on Valentine's Day) she gave her dad the lovely present of barfing on him in the middle of sacrament meeting. Trust me, we had no warning, or we would NOT have brought her to church.
Anyway, that morphed into a cold, which, at 2am on Monday morphed into an ear infection. (Side note: Why do things like this always happen at 2am?) Long story short, she missed a bunch of school, including the long-awaited 100th Day of School Celebration in her classroom. She was heartbroken when the doctor confirmed her ear infection and told her she'd have to miss the next day of school, so Mommy went into full Mommy-Makes-It-Better mode and planned our own 100 Day Party.
Festivities included:
Make 100-shaped pancakes
Shape 100 with pipe cleaners
Count 100 cents with pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters
Watch 100 minutes of TV
Count to 100 by 2's, 5's, and 10's
Build a 100-block tower
Play 100 notes on the piano
Build a 100-domino line -- and knock it down!
Do 100 exercises (10 each of 10 activities)
Read for 100 minutes
Learn to say 100 in different languages (cent, C, yat baak)
There were several other activities I wanted to do but was voted down by the kids. Mostly I wanted to see them dress up/draw themselves the way they think they'll be at 100 years old. Wouldn't that have been a scream? Ah, well, maybe next year.
Also, I wanted to include more photos, but it was getting to be a ridiculous list, so here's our proudest achievement of the day: 100 dominoes ready to tumble! We had a great time.

P.S. If you know an easy (and I mean easy) way to make a mosaic of a bunch of my own photos, please let me know. Vernon's trying to help me with this, but so far it's been over my head. If only I spoke programmer.....
